10 Things I Love About My Natural Hair
I love my hair so much. I first began to appreciate my natural hair over four years ago. It was challenging at first and it still has it's challenges, but more than anything it has been rewarding. It has really helped me to shape my own standard of beauty. Now I feel that I can't not really be myself if I am not able to appreciate myself in the way in which I was born. I love me, and I love myself even more now that I can appreciate what my ancestors have passed down to me. For many a look is not complete unless they feel and look beautiful from head to toe. Hair is fashion. Fashion is confidence. Confidence is the best accessory you can possess.
What do you think?
In your opinion, can you look good without liking your hair? Also, what hairstyles do you like and why?

Yes, you can look good without liking your hair. You can hate your hair and still style it nicely so it looks good. But, can you feel good without liking your hair? Again, I think yes. There are things that people don't like about themselves and still they love themselves. Those people just hate/dislike a part of themselves. I think that as long as you don't hate all of you, you'll be all right.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I feel good about myself depending on my knowledge, and what skills I can cultivate and share with others. This happiness also depends on how much knowledge I can collect from others.
Black women - up-do's, braids, curly, 'fros, nearly everything but bone-straight
I like those fishtail braids.
Egyptians- I like that bald head with the ponytail. So cool!
On guys - I like their hair short, you know, a close shave.
Thanks for the great blog.
I'll be coming back!
